What's coming next

These are the features actively being considered for upcoming releases. Nothing here is a firm commitment, but it reflects where Tangent is headed.

  • Scheduled messages — Queue a message to send to a channel at a specific time — useful for recurring prompts and reminders.
  • Shared channels — Invite another Tangent user to collaborate inside a channel, seeing each other's messages in real time.
  • Voice input — Speak your message instead of typing — transcribed and sent automatically.
  • Custom AI personas — Save a named persona (name, avatar, system prompt) and reuse it across multiple channels.
  • Message reactions — React to any message with an emoji to bookmark, flag, or express agreement without cluttering the thread.
